After nearly 23 years, splitting time between the institutional side as well as private wealth management, starting at a boutique investment bank, finally leaving one of the larger brokerage firms in the country post acquisition, I have seen this business from a collective of different vantage points most industry veterans will never know. Viewing the industry from so many angles provides perspective many will never understand.

This quote has followed me to every desk I have had throughout my entire working career. Those who know me well, will tell you these are more than words to me. This principle is the foundation and essence of who I am as a person. It is the driving force behind virtually every decision I make, both personally and professionally.

My humble opinion is that very few people even realize there is a story to be told other than the very lopsided narrative that’s been “sold” to investors over time.
